Plus, I do have a soft spot for the original Trainz Simulator games, and while not up to date as Trainz Simulator 2019 is, it's still as fun as it was back in the day! I waited for a bit, but nothing happened. It pulled up a tiny window that said was checking dependency files and whatnot, and after that, that window closed. Sodor Island 3D is a site that brings you Thomas content that accurately reflects the TV Series for Trainz Railway Simulator. I installed it, pulled up the start menu, and clicked 'Content'. Not sure what other kuids youre talking about, really. The 2009 version of the tankers require the NG trucks from the 2006 site. ![]() Duck's baked model was made by Zeldaboy14 (which was originally a mesh made by Richard Jordan), Bill and Ben's models were made by Workshop Engines, Donald, Douglas, Diesel, Splatter, Dodge, Skarloey, Rheneas, Rusty, and Duke were made by No1ThomasFan and Mavis was made by BenStack on the Sudrian Community (for those wondering, this Mavis model is long gone from the site, but shockingly is still available via this link thanks to the web archive).Īlthough Trainz Simulator 2019 is better in terms of quality and producing for fan videos, it just doesn't quite have the sentimentality and enjoyment that the older Trainz games have. Thanks to the Negotiator's SI3D Archive folder, I was able to download several of Sodor Island 3D's original Trainz assets for TS2009. it's aged pretty well despite being somewhat outdated!Īnd of course, I couldn't really use it without using any content involving the little blue bugger and all his pals. At least with unknown assests there is a tangible reason. ![]() Thats one thing I hate whenever I download something that looks cool from the download station or anywhere else faulty for no other reason. I managed to find any missing assets via a but I find trouble with the assets that werent missing faulty. Recently, I've been on a nostalgic binge of Thomas the Tank Engine and decided to download the Sodor Island 3D route to relieve one of my childhood fantasies of driving through the island of Sodor.
